Senior Co-Chairman Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud, Co-Chairman A.B.M. Ruhul Amin Howlader, and Co-Chairman & Secretary General Md. Mujibul Haque Chunnu have been relieved of their duties

In the views-exchange meeting of the district/metropolitan presidents, general secretaries/ conveners, and member secretaries held on 25 June 2025, allegations of party discipline violations were brought against Senior Co-Chairman Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud, Co-Chairman A.B.M. Ruhul Amin Howlader, and Co-Chairman & Secretary General Md. Mujibul Haque Chunnu, and a demand was made for disciplinary action.

Subsequently, in the Presidium meeting of the party held on 28 June 2025, a decision was taken to relieve the above-mentioned three leaders from all party posts due to the violation of party discipline.

Accordingly, the Party Chairman, Ghulam Muhammed Quader, by the authority vested in him under the party constitution, has relieved Senior Co-Chairman Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud, Co-Chairman A.B.M. Ruhul Amin Howlader, and Co-Chairman & Secretary General Md. Mujibul Haque Chunnu from all party positions including their primary membership.
